Built to Improve Awareness, Speed Response, and Help Save Lives.

EMB Military presents a connected battlefield concept built around a smart intelligent visor helmet, live combatant awareness, threat alerting, medic notification, and command-level visibility.

Patent Number 4 EMB Biosensory Undergarment

This is the medical response layer of the EMB Battlefield System.

Description

A biosensory garment comprising one or more wearable portions.

The wearable portions are adapted to be attached together to substantially clothe a wearer. Individual portions may be removed as required to facilitate access to specific areas of the wearer’s body.

The wearable portions incorporate one or more physiological sensors positioned in contact with the wearer’s body.

A central processor is adapted to process and transmit information received from the sensors to a command computer, whereby the physiological condition of the wearer can be monitored in real time or recorded over an extended period to facilitate medical intervention and treatment.

The biosensory garment may incorporate one or more physiological sensors, including:

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) sensors;
  • Body temperature sensors;
  • Subcutaneous blood flow sensors;
  • Blood pressure sensors;
  • Oximetry sensors;
  • Galvanic skin response sensors; and
  • Other non-invasive physiological monitoring sensors.

The biosensory garment may include a transceiver adapted to receive signals from implanted medical devices, such as a cardiac pacemaker, wherein the central processor transmits the received signal information to the command computer.

The biosensory garment may further comprise one or more wearable portions incorporating inflatable segments associated with an air supply and one or more microprocessor-controlled air valves. The air valves are adapted to inflate, deflate, and maintain pressure within the inflatable segments to regulate blood flow or function as an occlusive tourniquet when required for the medical treatment of the wearer.

The central processor is adapted to transmit information from the sensors to the command computer via a wireless personal area network protocol. The command computer may comprise a remote server or a smart device, including a mobile phone, personal digital assistant, laptop computer, or tablet computer.

The biosensory garment may also comprise one or more heating elements integrated within the wearable portions to maintain or increase the wearer’s body temperature as required.

A portable rechargeable battery power supply is provided to operate the physiological sensors, transceivers, heating elements, and central processor.

The command computer may coordinate and control the operation of one or more physiological sensors, transceivers, and heating elements through communication with the central processor.

The invention may be used for the ambulatory acquisition of vital signs and health status monitoring outside a clinical environment over extended periods during the recovery and treatment of an injured wearer.

The invention may also be utilised as a military undergarment to facilitate the acquisition of vital signs and health status information from Combatants during normal operational duties. This information may be used to anticipate and support necessary medical intervention or treatment by first responders and medical personnel prior to the rescue and evacuation of an injured Combatant.

Medical Countermeasure Products

Physiological Monitoring. A microprocessor designed to monitor the combatant’s condition (ECG and EEG) and if a combatant has been shot, a sensor will activate a tourniquet the limb to stop the bleeding. Sensors to detect radiation and chemical warning support and provide oxygen if required. This is the faster casualty visibility.

Enhanced Human Performance

Supports resilience and battlefield interpretation through targeted information delivery.

Materials and Protection

 EMB Military’s helmet system is a modular AI-powered, augmented reality (AR) Smart Intelligence visor integrated into tactical helmets to provide real-time, 360-degree battlefield situational awareness. Not only will the system consisting of four patents will make the operation a success but will more importantly save countless lives.

Quantum, Trusted Autonomy and Cyber

Positions the platform around future secure communications, autonomous support, and broader sensor-driven coordination.

ABOUT EMB MILITARY

One Mission: Help Save Lives

The EMB concept is built as a modular AI-powered, augmented reality (AR) visor integrated into tactical helmets and is not a single product (FOUR Patents to this system) It links Combatant awareness, visor-based information, warning pathways, medic notification, command visibility, and supporting battlefield technologies into one operational framework.
